This week, Josh and I celebrated six years of marriage.
Every year, we find ourselves surprised that so much time has gone by. It feels like much less than a year ago when I wrote the post with the tongue-in-cheek title, “5 Years with my Quarantine Buddy” (and not much has changed since then, as we’re still both home most of the time, waiting out a pandemic–except now we’re both vaccinated).
Another notable thing about this year: It’s the first anniversary where our years in marriage exceeds the years we knew each other before marriage. (We met about five years before we got married.)
It’s interesting to think that someday, we might be able to say “We’ve been married for most of our lives.”
During this time, I’ve been taking a short break from writing, so I’ll keep this post short and simple, by linking two previous posts that summarize the story of our marriage:
